Each RV port home includes custom designed features based upon the buyer’s personal choices. RV port homes are routinely utilized as primary residences and other RV port homes are utilized as a seasonal residence. Many northern “Snow Birds” love to come and go as the seasons change.
The construction of an RV port home is typically based upon an approximate $125.00 per square foot. This building cost includes upgraded design features. RV enthusiasts purchase RV port homes and select their preference of available upgraded features so that their completed RV port home is a personal custom design and not a cookie cutter floor plan.
There are port options. Some buyers prefer an aluminum port structure, others prefer trusses and shingles. In the Willow Lakes RV community, phase 2 allows aluminum ports but phase 3 requires trussed and shingled ports.
RV port homes are flexible construction rules and do not require the buyer to own an RV nor are you required to include a port during construction. Often times the buyer is intending to utilize their new RV port home to downsize.
